House Rules

Occupancy is strictly limited to TWO persons, no extra guests, no parties.

Most importantly, please respect our neighbors and our town.

This is a residential neighborhood, keep noise to a minimum and voices low when outside and in the yard. There is a county wide noise curfew at 10pm every night

We have a close relationship with our neighbors, if we receive a complaint of noise from them you will be subject to an immediate fee and possible immediate eviction - with no refund.

Never park on a neighbours driveway or property. The driveway is steep, unless you do have a powerful 4x4 we do not recommend attempting to park at the top of the drive. In snowy/icy conditions NO VEHICLE should use the driveway. Cars must be parked at the bottom of the drive parallel to the road.

We encourage you to unplug, relax and enjoy the peaceful quiet that we have to offer here.

We have provided everything you would need for a luxurious getaway, please make sure to leave the books, music, glassware and everything else for the next guest.

Anything missing/damaged will be taken directly from your security deposit.

Our furniture is all antique, so extra care must be taken - use a coster for drinks, do not put anything heavy or that could scratch the surface etc.

We do not allow pets

There is strictly no smoking in the house, and on the mountain fire safety is paramount. Never throw cigarette butts out of a car window, or onto the ground.

When leaving you must follow the “before you depart” checklist found in the house handbook.

Check in is 2pm - check out is 11am.

We do not recommend our property for children,

NO PROFESSIONAL PHOTOSHOOTS OR FILMING

We are happy for you to take holiday photos, feel free to get creative! But any professional shoots or anyone entering the property other than the two authorized guests will result in withheld deposit funds.

If you would like to book Hillside House for a shoot you can message us to see if we would be a good fit for your project.
